The images in these galleries result from an ethnographic attitude toward life, and from a response to curiosity, unrest, and boldness. The photos emerge from encounters with the other, the different, and the new, carrying within them the dust of roads, the salt of seas, and the weight of time. They are tinted by the ink of my pen and shaped by stories from dog-eared books I read, or by accounts I hear.
